Hertzoggies
These traditional jam tarts will get your Sunday tea friends coming back for more. With apricot jam and our seasoned coconut mix, you can easily DIY your own Hertzoggie treats at your home.
Heres how!
1. Defrost your Hertzoggie dough at room temperature by leaving them out of your freezer in their trays.
2. Once slightly soft, remove them from the tray and place them in a shallow muffin baking tray.
3. Take a small portion of jam and coconut that you have included in your package, and place them in the centre of each Hertzoggie.
4. Heat your oven at 180 degrees.
5. Place them in the oven and bake them until slightly brown.
6. Remove your tray from the oven and let your Hertzoggies cool.
7. Once they are warm, remove them gently from the tray.
8. Lastly, enjoy them with your favourite tea or coffee.
