Cape Malay Bags

Our unbaked bags can be deep fried or air fried. Here are some instructions. 

Air fried
So, depending on your air fryer, here we go…
1. Brush them with your favourite brand of oil. I love coconut oil, so I used that.
2. Place a sheet of baking paper at the bottom of your air fryer.
3. Place the brushed bags in the air fryer and fry them at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
4. Check your bags if they are ready by just checking them underneath. They should be light golden brown.
5. Enjoy with a sauce dip of your choice and don’t forget to send us a pic and tell us which is your favourite flavour.

Deep fried
1. Use a small or medium pot to fit 6 bags and more. 
2. Pour in your oil of choice to half of pot and heat the oil until medium heat. 
3. Place the bags in the pot and submerge the bags with a large spoon. 
4. Check your bags if they are light golden brown. If yes, remove the bags from the pot and place them in a paper towel. 
5. Enjoy with a sauce dip of your choice and don’t forget to send us a pic and tell us which is your favourite flavour.
